Fame equal to my fortune

There's an article about Wikipedia mentioning me in the Boston Globe West section today.

The article, "Answering Wikipedia's Call to Fill in the Blanks" is here but you'll have to go to the hard copy to see the glamourous pix of me in my solarium library.

I can name you at least one human who's lacking dignity already, let's start with him!

In the course of urging that other nations follow our lead in ditching the Geneva convention (read the link and tell me that isn't what he is saying), President George W. "W" Bush paused for a moment of unaccustomed reflection:
THE PRESIDENT: This debate is occurring because of the Supreme Court's ruling that said that we must conduct ourselves under the Common Article III of the Geneva Convention. And that Common Article III says that there will be no outrages upon human dignity. It's very vague. What does that mean, "outrages upon human dignity"? That's a statement that is wide open to interpretation.
Okay, I'm outraged. Let's take this little pissant and his pals down in a secret basement and outrageously undignify the hell out of them until they admit their war crimes

The consensus of the close observers is that the Administration is attempting to enact retroactive innocence on themselves, which that Constitution they are systematicallty destroying prohibits as ex post facto.

Impeach, Indict, Imprison the lot, at least down past the odious John Yoo.

Little known fact: The first two letters in Pluto's name commemorate Percival Lowell

You'll have to saunter over here to find out what this is all about:
After all, it is only America's love of Pluto that has made the study of our Solar System so complex and so absurd.

One measure of greatness

When the obituary writes itself.

There were 458 items at the time I wrote this.

Ed's note: "What a way to go" gets over 15,000 now, but "Crikey!" is more than 3 million.
